Sweets by Syd is a custom cookie bakery located in the heart of Houston’s Museum District. I strive to create gourmet, handcrafted cookies that spark joy and become part of your most memorable moments. My goal is not only to deliver an extraordinary custom dessert experience, but also to support and celebrate my customers through every stage of life—one piece of edible art at a time.
SYDNI CALAISHi, I’m Syd! For the past seven years, I’ve had the joy of creating custom cookies for all kinds of events and life celebrations. I graduated with an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts/Pastry from San Jacinto College in 2016, and spent time working at both a sushi restaurant and a cupcake bakery before I was able to take this cookie business full-time.I believe food is something people connect over and build memories around, and that art is one of the most meaningful things we can share with the world. I love that this work allows me to bring both together. Thank you so much for being here!
